• Oversee night shift operations, coordinating delegated tasks while supervising machinists and ensuring effective communication for seamless shift transitions
• Skilled in written and verbal communication, completing documentation for finished and pending orders, as well as placing orders for new tools.
• Maintain thorough records of equipment and procedures, utilizing calipers and other measuring tools to ensure products meet tolerance specifications.
• Program and Set-Up machines to the required parameters and Create/Modify CNC programs as needed
• Understands cutting tools, makes tool selection & determines appropriate tool life, Changes out tooling at appropriate intervals
• Assist in training co-workers
• Perform necessary maintenance and cleaning on equipment.
• Properly quarantine products once an out of specification part is found
• Perform inspection tasks of intermediate complexity interacting with drawings and more advanced inspection tools
